A ocupação Zumbi dos
Palmares localizada em Sumaré, região metropolitana de Campinas (SP), pode ser
nos próximos dias o foco de mais uma tragédia social por meio de um despejo,
como ocorreu em São José dos Campos com a ocupação Pinheirinho.
Após 3 anos de ocupação e
um acordo firmado junto às várias esferas de governo e do poder judiciário, a
sentença de reintegração de posse pode ser despachada a qualquer momento,
fazendo com que mais de 300 famílias sejam jogadas para a rua, sem nenhuma
alternativa.
A área ocupada serve como
uma “solução” provisória para as famílias que aguardam a assinatura do contrato
para que se iniciem as obras das casas. Entretanto, Prefeitura e Caixa
Econômica Federal, responsáveis pelo projeto não conseguiram viabilizar a
assinatura (e o inicio das obras) e pouco se importam com o futuro das
famílias!
Com o prazo provisório
esgotado, o Ministério Público ameaça agir contra as famílias e determinar o
despejo. Uma mancha de sangue pode cair na cidade de Sumaré a qualquer momento.
Enquanto isso, o prefeito
José Antonio Bacchim (cassado oficialmente, mas se mantendo no cargo através de
acordo com os vereadores) nada faz para reverter o quadro.
Não ficaremos parados
esperando um novo Pinheirinho acontecer. Denunciaremos e lutaremos. Morar é um
direito. Despejar é um crime!

After three years of occupation
and an agreement among the various levels of
government and the judiciary, the judgment of repossession can
be checked at any time, causing more than 300
families are thrown into the street, with nowhere to
go.
The occupied area serves
as a provisional "solution" for
families awaiting the signature of the contract so that
they begin the work on their houses.
However, City
Hall and Federal Savings Bank, responsible for the
project have failed to deliver the signature
required (and thereby the beginning of the work) and could care
less about the future of these families!
With
the interim period exhausted, the prosecutor threatened to
act against the families and determine when the eviction would take
place. A spot of blood may fall in the city of Sumaré at anytime.
Meanwhile,
Mayor Jose Antonio Bacchim (officially removed from
office, but has remained in office through an
agreement with the council) does nothing to reverse the
situation.
We will not wait for another Pinheirinho
to happen.
