Notícias da última da hora indicam que cerca de 17 jovens foram hoje detidos no Município do Cacuaco em Luanda durante uma manifestação e as fontes indicam que houve severos casos de brutalidade policial.

Dentre os detidos está o irmão do jovem activista cívico, Carbono Casimiro, que foi detido inúmeras vezes nas manifestações de 2011.

A notícia foi divulgada hoje as 13 horas pelo Secretario Geral do Bloco Democrático (BD), Filomeno Lopes, que indicou que o ‘Presidente do BD está a encetar esforços para falar com o Comandante Geral da Policia Nacional a fim de pôr fim a brutal repressão’.

‘Já estão presas cerca de 17 pessoas e os manifestantes vão para o comando geral para exigir a libertação dos colegas,’ Lopes explicou ao ser questionado sobre a situação.

Pedro Malembe, um manifestante que também foi preso ao 3 de Setembro, encontra-se a receber tratamento num Posto de Saúde, devido a brutalidade dos espancamentos.

Outro jovem, António Manuel Capitão (Pimpão) e Joel Gonçalves Júnior (Nzala) irmão do activista cívico, Casimiro Carbono, encontram-se também detidos.

Lopes disse que ‘a Polícia está a lançar um líquido nos olhos dos manifestantes que os deixa momentaneamente cegos e tontos’.

‘O camara man Rui Manuel Salvador, Chori foi agredido e retiram-lhe o equipamento,’ disse Lopes.

Uma hora antes desta confirmação, Filomeno Lopes, postou no Facebook: ‘Pelo menos dois jovens foram detidos hoje no Município do Cacuaco em Luanda, quando preparavam uma manifestação de protesto contra as más condições de vida e a prisão sem fundamento e o julgamento arbitrário de outros 12 jovens há 3 dias pelo facto de reivindicarem água e energia para o Município.

Acrescentou que os jovens partiram do bairro do Kikolo em direcção a Administração do Município do Cacuaco, na Província de Luanda.

‘Notícias dão conta de outros jovens detidos arbitrariamente e severamente espancados pelas forças policiais, apenas pelos simples facto de estarem no local onde a manifestação pretende ocorrer’, disse Lopes.
