Joaquim Aristeu Benedito da Silva, vice-presidente da CIPA na empresa AmBev de Jacareí (SP) e dirigente da CSP-Conlutas, foi demitido por justa causa, no último dia 12/03.

A justificativa, expressa na carta de demissão do companheiro, foi de que este teria cometido um ato indisciplinar grave ao denunciar em alguns Sites e Redes Sociais o acidente ocorrido há 42 dias na empresa e que tirou a vida de um jovem operário de 25 anos. O companheiro Joaquim apenas cumpriu o seu dever como vice-presidente da CIPA na defesa das condições de saúde e na prevenção de acidentes na empresa.

Não se pode admitir uma atitude como esta que demonstra claramente uma tentativa de intimidar o conjunto dos trabalhadores da AMBEV para que não se levantem em defesa de melhores condições de trabalho e segurança.

Solidarizamo-nos irrestritamente com o companheiro Joaquim e exigimos que a AMBEV revisse a sua posição reintegrando-o imediatamente.

Aristaeus Joaquim Benedito da Silva, vice president of CIPA in the company AmBev-Jacareí (SP) and leader of the CSP-Conlutas, was fired for cause, on the last day 12/03.

The rationale expressed in the letter of resignation from the mate, was that this was an interdisciplinary action for reporting on some Social Networking Sites an accident that had occurred about 42 days ago at the company that took the life of a young 25 year old worker. The companion Joaquim only fulfilled his duty as vice president of CIPA in the defense of health and the prevention of accidents in the company.

We can not accept an attitude like this that clearly demonstrates an attempt to intimidate all workers AMBEV not to stand up in support of better working conditions and safety.

We join wholeheartedly with partner Joachim and demand that AMBEV reconsider its position and re-hire him immediately.
