PSTU - Nesta quinta-feira, Dia Internacional de Luta da Mulher, mais de 4 mil pessoas saíram às ruas de São Paulo para dar um 'basta' à opressão machista. O ato unificado contou com a participação de diversas organizações feminista, como o Movimento Mulheres em Lutas (CSP-Conlutas) e a Marcha Mundial das Mulheres. Entidades sindicais e organizações dos movimentos sociais, como CUT, CTB, MST, Força Sindical e CSP–Conlutas, ANEL, UBES, entre outras entidades, também prestaram seu apoio ao protesto. A manifestação teve início às 14h, na Praça da Sé. Em seguida, as ativistas saíram em passeata pelas ruas do centro da capital até a Praça da República. O protesto chamou a atenção das pessoas que passavam pelas ruas. Muitos manifestaram seu apoio à passeata. A coluna do Movimento Mulheres em Luta foi um dos destaques do ato. Empunhando faixas e bandeira, as mulheres cobraram do governo Dilma um combate efetivo à violência e ao machismo. Também exigiram a legalização do aborto ao governo petista, entoando palavras de ordem como: "Ô Dilma, presta atenção, aborto não é crime não!". "Apesar de ser mulher, Dilma não está na defesa das mulheres trabalhadoras. A presidente recua na legalização do aborto para atender os interesses dos setores conservadores, seus aliados" , afirmou Ana Pagamunici, da Secretaria Nacional de Mulheres do PSTU. Também estavam presentes na coluna as mulheres do Pinheirinho, que cumpriram um papel destacado na resistência à reintegração de posse. Jéssica, moradora do bairro, relatou diante do Tribunal de Justiça os atos de barbárie cometidos pela covarde ação policial de Alckmin, inclusive o caso de estupro cometido pela ROTA contra uma moradora do Campo dos Alemães. As denúncias contra a violência policial contra os moradores do Pinheirinho também estiveram presentes no protesto realizado pelo Movimento dos Trabalhadores Sem Teto (MTST), na manhã desta quinta-feira no bairro da Luz. O objetivo do MTST, além de denunciar os estupros praticados por policiais durante o despejo, foi exigir a punição dos policiais O governo também foi duramente criticado pelas ativistas, que cobraram um combate efetivo à crescente violência contra a mulher. A falta de infra-estrutura para fazer valer as leis foi amplamente denunciada. "A violência contra a mulher é grave em nosso país. A cada dia mais, assistimos cenas bárbaras, como assassinatos e estupros.
