O Comando da Polícia Militar informou que o disparo não teria sido feito pelo policiamento.  Ainda de acordo com a Secretaria de Saúde, duas pessoas foram atendidas em estado de choque na Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) do Campo dos Alemães. Elas estavam nervosas, mas não tinham nenhum ferimento e já foram liberadas. Outra pessoa também foi atendida na UPA atingida por uma pedra.
