"Eu também estava sentado na Frei Serafim. Quando a Tropa de Choque dispersou os estudantes, também corri. Foi quando vi que um grupo permaneceu sentado e estava sendo pisoteado. Pensei comigo: 'Pô, não precisa disso'. Então, voltei para ajudar".
O depoimento acima é de Hudson Christh Silva Teixeira, 21 anos, estudante de Filosofia da Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI) e auxiliar administrativo substituto do Centro Integrado de Saúde Lineu Araújo.
O cenário? Avenida Frei Serafim, terça-feira, dia 10 de janeiro de 2012, pouco mais de uma semana atrás, quando cerca de 500 policiais militares marcharam sobre um grupo de manifestantes que protestavam pacificamente contra o aumento do preço da passagem de ônibus e a integração parcial do transporte coletivo de Teresina.
"De repente, uma bomba explodiu nos meus pés e os estilhaços atingiram o meu rosto, principalmente o nariz e o olho direito. Quando virei para correr, recebi tiro nas costas e na perna", detalha o jovem que foi parar no Hospital de Urgência de Teresina Dr. Zenon Rocha.
Uma semana após o ocorrido, Hudson carrega no corpo as marcas do massacre ocorrido no sétimo dia do movimento #contraoaumento, que ganhou as ruas de Teresina pela segunda vez em menos de seis meses. Os braços e as pernas ainda estão machucados por conta das balas de borracha. O nariz ainda está costurado como quando ele saiu do HUT. E o olho direito continua condenado. "O laudo médico aponta que ele está cego", conta o pai, o fonoaudiólogo Ribamar Rodrigues, de 43 anos.
O laudo médico a que se refere Ribamar Rodrigues é claro e não deixa margem para interpretações: "Baixa acuidade visual (cegueira) em olho direito. Em acompanhamento devido a trauma ocular", atesta o diagnóstico assinado na segunda-feira (16) pelo especialista Wildaves Machado, que acompanha o Hudson desde a semana passada.
Família processará o Estado
O trauma e as agressões sofridas por Hudson no último dia 10 de janeiro serão resolvidos na Justiça. A família promete entrar com uma ação contra o Estado, responsabilizando-o pelos prejuízos do jovem universitário.
"Ainda no HUT, o pessoal do Fórum (Fórum Estadual em Defesa do Transporte Público) me procurou e disse que me daria o apoio jurídico se eu quisesse. Me encaminharam para a advogada (Adonyara Azevedo) e ela me acompanhou no 1º Distrito Policial, onde registrei um B.O. (Boletim de Ocorrência), e no IML (Instituto Médico Legal), onde fiz o exame de corpo e delito", revela Hudson.
O pai não se conforma com o ocorrido. "Estou indignado. Não só pelo Hudson Christh, mas por todas as pessoas que foram tratadas de forma truculenta. Elmano (Elmano Férrer, prefeito de Teresina), vereadores e Wilson Martins (governador) é que formam a verdadeira quadrilha no Piauí", desabafa.
Para Hudson, toda a ação da Polícia Militar orquestrada contra os estudantes naquela terça-feira reflete a opressão da sociedade sobre as classes menos favorecidas. "Acho que os policiais agiram com aquela truculência justamente para mostrar que os estudantes e trabalhadores não podem medir forças com as autoridades", argumenta. Questionado se teme ficar marcado, o universitário não hesita: "Eu já estou marcado", diz mostrando os ferimentos espalhados pelo corpo e pelo rosto. "Fico indignado porque não era uma causa só minha. Era de todos que estavam ali", completa.
A Polícia Militar, por sua vez, nega que tenha usado bombas. De acordo com o coronel Márcio Santos, comandante do Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais (Bope) e responsável por dispersar os manifestantes no sétimo dia do #contraoaumento, foram utilizados na ação apenas spray de pimenta, balas de borracha e granadas de som e luz.
Cegueira pode ser reversível
Hudson lembra dos vários momentos de aflição que sofreu desde que os estilhaços da bomba e as balas de borracha rasgaram o seu corpo. No instante em que seu rosto foi atingido, o medo foi inevitável: "Meu olho ficou muito inchado. Desde o momento que a bomba explodiu nos meus pés, meu olho fechou. Cheguei ao HUT sem enxergar absolutamente nada com o olho direito. Meu grande medo era ficar cego", conta.
No HUT, Hudson foi submetido a tratamento no setor de urgência. Primeiro, teve a pálpebra do olho direito suturada - ela havia sido rasgada com o impacto dos estilhaços da bomba jogada aos seus pés. Em seguida, ele ficou esperando a chegada de um cirurgião plástico para tratar do nariz, igualmente rasgado por conta dos estilhaços lançados contra o seu rosto. "Disseram que eu ia precisar (de um cirurgião plástico). Quando o cirurgião chegou, ele avaliou que não seria necessária uma cirurgia plástica e recomendou apenas a sutura", relata.
Nos dias seguintes, Hudson e o pai, que o acompanhava durante as manifestações do sétimo dia do movimento #contraoaumento, procuraram especialistas. "O laudo médico aponta que ele está cego. Mas o médico que o acompanha diz que essa cegueira pode ser reversível. Teremos uma nova consulta com o especialistana sexta-feira", conta Ribamar.
"Eu queria voltar à Frei Serafim"
Enquanto se recupera dos ferimentos, Hudson praticamente não sai de casa, no Residencial Lagoa Azul, zona Norte de Teresina, onde mora com os pais e as duas irmãs. Os mesmos 20 dias de licença médica que o impedem de trabalhar o "proibem" também de ir ao lugar onde ele mais queria estar no momento: a Avenida Frei Serafim, que permanece sendo o palco das principais manifestações contra o aumento do preço da passagem de ônibus e a integração parcial do sistema de transporte coletivo de Teresina.
"Não voltei à Frei Serafim desde terça-feira por questão de saúde mesmo. Não fosse isso, estaria lá com os outros estudantes durante todos esses dias", afirma.
Em casa, porém, Hudson praticamente não desfruta do tempo livre que tem à disposição. Fã de histórias em quadrinhos e de filmes de ficção científica, terror e aventura, ele tem tido problemas para cultivar outra de suas paixões: tocar baixo. "Tentei praticar na segunda-feira, mas não consegui. Acho que ainda por causa do trauma recente no olho, minha cabeça doeu muito".
O movimento #contraoaumento completou, na terça-feira (17), 12 dias de protestos desde a instituição do novo preço da passagem (saiu de R$ 1,90 para R$ 2,10) e a implantação do sistema de integração de transporte coletivo que envolve apenas 33 das 92 linhas de ônibus de Teresina. Os manifestantes prometem voltar às ruas nesta quarta-feira (18).

At home, however, Hudson is hardly enjoying the free time he has available. Fan of comics and science fiction movies, horror and adventure, he has struggled to practice another of his passions: playing bass. "I tried to practice on Monday, but could not. I think yet because of recent trauma to the eye, my head hurt a lot."
"I have not gone back to Frei Serafim on Tuesday for these health reasons. Were it not so, would be there with other students during those days," he says.
While recovering from injuries, Hudson hardly left the house in Residential Blue Lagoon, the northern zone of Teresina, where he lives with his parents and two sisters. The same 20 sick days that kept himfrom work to also kept him from going to the place where he most wanted to be in the moment: Avenida Frei Serafim, which remains the main stage demonstrations against the rising price of ticket partial integration of bus and mass transit system in Teresina.
"I wanted to return to Frei Seraphim"
In the following days, Hudson and his father, who accompanied him during the demonstrations of the seventh day of the move #contraoaumento sought out experts.
