Ontem, os caciques disseram que não iriam sair da área, que já tinham "coisa plantada" e convidaram o juiz para visitar a área, pois "o papel não mostra a realidade". O juiz, impassível, nem considerou. Disse que eles só ficariam lá se houvesse decisão judicial neste sentido. A Funai ainda argumentou que isso não era conciliação mas simplesmente imposição. A Polícia Federal disse que precisava ser intimada para cumprir a ordem, mas já tinha o esquema montado, com 3 ônibus lotados de policiais da tropa de choque da PM. Segundo relatos de quem estava na área, chegaram atirando.
Yesterday, the chiefs said they would not leave the area, as they had "planted something" and asked the judge to visit the area because "the paper does not show the reality." The judge, was unmoved and did not reconsidered. The judge stated that he would only be there if there was a court decision in this regard. Funai also argued that it was not reconciliation but simply imposing. The Federal Police said it had to be summoned to respond to the order, but the scheme had already assembled with three busloads of police riot PM. According to reports by those in the area they began to shoot.
O corpo do indígena morto não passou pelo Instituto Médico Legal (IML) e vai ser sepultado amanhã, às pressa, sem perícia. O CIMI e o MPF estão tentando suspender esse sepultamento, para descobrir a causa da morte. Agora 15 indígenas estão sendo levados para a Polícia Federal, em Campo Grande, detidos por desobediência.
The body of the dead Indian not returned by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) and will be buried tomorrow at rush without expertise/appropriate burial. The CIMI and MPF are trying to stop this burial, to discover the cause of death. Now 15 Indians are being taken to the Federal Police, in Campo Grande, to be arrested for contempt.
